PEMA upgrades Tactical Video System

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency recently contracted Peake to upgrade their tactical video AgileMesh system. This upgrade provides the agency with the ability to view their AgileMesh tactical video feeds remotely via 4g/LTE. It also allows authorized users the ability to pan-tilt-zoom the cameras remotely.AgileMesh Upgrade Features:

  • Tactical video feeds viewed remotely via cellular network
  • Remotely Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras
  • Option to control and view locally or remotely (toggle switch)
  • Password protected remote viewing
  • Increased surveillance capability

In 2011 PEMA took delivery of several AgileMesh Sentinel kits that provide portable, wireless video surveillance when deployed. The AgileMesh system includes camera deployment units (CDU), CommandMesh Tactical nodes, and antennas.The upgrade included design and engineering by Peake to provide PEMA with the ability to send tactical video feeds from their deployed cameras, over 4G/LTE to any location. The upgrade also gives the agency the ability to Pan, Tilt, and Zoom the cameras from a web browser remotely.The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency coordinates emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts for natural and manmade disasters such as tornadoes, storms, earthquakes, hazardous materials incidents, including acts of terrorism involving weapons of mass destruction, throughout the state of Pennsylvania.For more information on Tactical Video products, contact Peake.
