The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal-level award that acknowledges employers for their dedication to veteran hiring and professional development. Administered by the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS), the program honors organizations that demonstrate veteran-focused initiatives—including strong hiring practices, high retention rates, career development opportunities, and tailored support programs for veteran employees.
