PEAKE COMPLETES ISO 9001 SURVEILLANCE AUDIT

September 30, 2020- PEAKE has completed the ISO 9001 Surveillance Audit required to maintain its ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System (QMS). ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for quality control within the Department of Defense (DoD) contracting industry. It is the most widely used QMS standard in the world, with over 1.1 million certificates issued to organizations in 178 countries. ISO 9001 provides a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to the management of an organization to consistently satisfy customers and other stakeholders.PEAKE has maintained its ISO 9001 certification since 2015. An ISO 9001-certified QMS ensures PEAKE delivers quality services and products to customers. PEAKE’s QMS is based on over 20 years of firsthand knowledge and experience in the development, implementation, and management of core technical and business processes on countless DoD contracts. PEAKE continually improves its management processes, per ISO 9001 requirements, to maintain cost-effective, quality performance while ensuring accomplishment of contract and detailed service requirements.Externally audited annually and re-certified every three years, PEAKE’s QMS is the backbone of operations as a company. The QMS provides staff with a comprehensive set of tools, allowing PEAKE to fulfill mission requirements more effectively and efficiently. The focus of an ISO surveillance audit is to ensure the organization is continuing to comply with ISO standards. PEAKE is partnered with NQA, who performed the independent, external auditing services in September 2020.
