Junior Fire Company #2 increases fleet with Battalion Chief Vehicle by Peake

Lights, Sirens and Incident Command Board were integrated onto Rescue Vehicle for Battalion ChiefJunior Fire Company in Frederick Maryland increased their fleet of rescue vehicles with the addition of a new Battalion Chief vehicle to be used for incident command during mobile operations. Peake of Maryland integrated lights, sirens, and an incident command board and cabinet into a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban.In a sales partnership with dealer FESCO Emergency Sales, Peake integrated a fire rescue package into the new chief vehicle that included lights, sirens, consoles, and a custom cabinet.Peake wired and installed over 30 lights to the interior and exterior of the chief’s SUV. An incident command cabinet was custom built and installed into the rear of the vehicle. The cabinet included lockable drawer storage and a custom pullout incident command board for operations out of the trunk of the fire vehicle. A center console with radio was also installed into the driver area of the SUV.The battalion chief’s vehicle will be used when the chief responds to a fire or medical incident. As the incident commander on scene, the battalion chief will use the vehicle to perform critical functions throughout operations.Junior Fire Company #2 was founded in 1838 and serves the people of Frederick Maryland. The Peake-integrated battalion chief vehicle was sold through FESCO Emergency Sales.
