CHALLENGE
Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) require resilient, high-speed backhaul communications to maintain coordination during disasters—but traditional infrastructure is often vulnerable to outages or degradation.
When hurricanes, wildfires, or cyberattacks disrupt terrestrial infrastructure, Emergency Operations Centers must still operate as the nerve center for public safety coordination. However, landline and cellular networks are often overwhelmed, physically damaged, or simply unavailable in the affected regions. Without reliable backhaul, EOCs lose access to real-time data, GIS platforms, video conferencing, and coordination tools—putting lives and response effectiveness at risk.

OUR approach
PEAKE provides EOCs with LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite connectivity that delivers fast, low-latency internet for backhaul communications—even in austere or disconnected environments. PEAKE integrates Starlink and other LEO satellite systems with EOC infrastructure—either as a primary link or as resilient failover—ensuring constant access to cloud platforms, voice/video communications, and situational awareness tools. Solutions are rapidly deployable and managed with PEAKE’s ongoing support.
