STEVENSVILLE, MD – (June 2014) PEAKE has recently upfitted a recreational vehicle for Queen Anne’s Emergency Services, creating a Mobile Command Unit for the agency. This upfit brings the agency greater capability when deployed in the field for an emergency, disaster or event.QACES received a FEMA Recreational Vehicle (RV) to convert into a functioning Mobile Command Unit. ICS installed several communication components (provided by QAC) including network routers and cellular modems 4G/LTE connectivity. Two monitors were also installed in the MCU. PEAKE built a custom command table to provide the agency with a command area and work space. The table can be dismantled and stored when not in use.PEAKE provides custom and turnkey solutions to first responders, critical infrastructure, military and private companies. PEAKE has the capability to build Mobile Command Units from the ground up, but also can provide design and installation services for customer-provided communications gear. This upfit of the QACES Mobile Command Unit displays PEAKE’ ability to provide custom installation services and solutions.According to their website, the Queen Anne's County Department of Emergency Services is a department that brings together four closely tied yet distinct functions or divisions, operating under one umbrella.
