PEAKE provided remote support to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency throughout the 103rd Rose Bowl events in Pasadena, CA. ICE deployed several Mobile Command Vehicles in support security operations for the parade and football game.ICE MCV communications are powered by PEAKE’s Tactical IP Satellite Service and serve as the command centers for ICE operations. ICE MCV’s are on Tactical IP Responder PLUS service which provides a robust throughput up to 20 Mbps x 5 Mbps Ku-Band bandwidth with 10 On-Air days per month. This service includes Dual-Look Satellite Diversity as a standard.PEAKE engineers understand the unique design of the ICE vehicle’s technologies and communications systems and were able to guide the customer in locating the root cause of several operational issues throughout deployment.As a PRO-Support service subscriber, ICE receives the highest level of technical assistance, including direct access to experienced, certified system engineers at PEAKE.The City of Pasadena Police were assisted by a team of federal agencies that provided security for the parade and Rose Bowl football game, including the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
