STEVENSVILLE, Md. (May 26, 2010) -- PEAKE today signed a Blanket Purchasing Agreement with Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). This contract, valued at $10 million, with a term of five years allows the Navy’s Bureau of Naval Weapons to purchase products and services from ICS.The agreement is between PEAKE and the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Patuxent River, St. Inigoes, Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division. According to the agreement the purpose of this five year, multiple award BPA is to “provide SCR Division with rack ready mobile platforms essential to meet the sponsors quick reaction mission functions in the field of Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Electronic Systems.”“PEAKE is very excited to be working with NAWCAD over the next 5 years and hopefully beyond. It is a terrific opportunity and we are looking forward to providing the group with state of the art equipment and establishing a great relationship with the whole NAWCAD team,” stated PEAKE president, Steve Morgan.The NAWCAD-SCR is engaged in the design, development, integration, test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, maintenance, life cycle and logistic support of electronic and communications systems, subsystems, and equipment used by Navy, Army, Air Force, Joint Special Operations Forces (SOF), and other DoD or Government agencies.Over the next five years, PEAKE will provide NAWCAD-SCR with a range of the rack ready vehicles including Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) Platform, Van Platform, Medium and Large Duty Platform Base Bumper Tow Trailer, Bumper Tow Trailer Command Center, Base Fifth Wheel Militarized Trailer, Fifth Wheel Intermediate Command Trailer, Full Size Kingpin Trailer, as well as Full Lifecycle Engineering Services and Support.
