PEAKE Holds School Supply Drive for Donation to Queen Anne's County Public Schools

June 22, 2016

PEAKE held a drive to collect school supplies for donation to the Queen Anne’s County Public School system. The supplies donated by PEAKE employees included backpacks, paper, pencils, notebooks, cleaning products, and many other items. Each year, the QAC Board of Education collects school supplies for students who are unable to afford many of the basic supplies they need for a successful school year. All supplies donated will be distributed to the students most in need and help to alleviate some of the stress already associated with starting a new school year.“Giving back to your local community is important,” said PEAKE’s Sarah Andrew. “Every child should have an equal opportunity for success in the classroom. We are happy to help out our local school system in a small way.”PEAKE is located in Stevensville MD, which is part of Queen Anne’s County. The QAC school system includes 8 Elementary, 4 Middle and 2 High Schools and 1 Alternative School. For more information on how to donate to the QAC School System visit their website at http://qacps.schoolwires.net/qacps
