LAREDO, TX- (August 25, 2011)- The Laredo (TX) Fire Department Mobile Command Unit provided 911 backup to emergency personnel when the local AT&T service was interrupted, recently. The mobile command unit, which was integrated by PEAKE allowed emergency personnel to continue operating vital services to the City of Laredo. By routing all 911 calls through the satellite on-board the MCU, Laredo City was able to answer emergency calls seamlessly and send response crews immediately.Read the full article and watch the news story: “City Deals with Technology Outage.”
