The Anne Arundel County Fire Department’s Operations Center was recently upgraded by Peake of Maryland. The upgrades give the department modern and advanced video resources at the operations center, providing greater situational awareness and presentation capability.The Anne Arundel County Fire Department Operations Center is located at the Fire Headquarters and is primarily used for departmental meetings and training. The Fire DOC is also the backup Emergency Operations Center for the County. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department is an “all hazards” organization, providing fire protection, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS –Paramedic), Hazardous Materials mitigation, Collapse rescue, Confined Space rescue, Dive Rescue and Marine Operations.
